Hi,
I am looking to update my old p3 400mhz to a new amd 64 x2, I am
to spend about £400, for a whole new box. Does any have anyrecommendations
of motherboards that work well, I would ideally like SATA II, gigaEthernet
and audio (though not vital as I have an old pci sb 512 card). And if ithas
onboard video at least 128 (non shared memory), though I can always get an
extra graphics card.
Thanks
Mike
'The cheapest amd64 3800 X2 listed at the moment is $289usd cpu only
(you do the conversion) I think your price point is a little tight for all
the
stuff you want. If you can waite until after the 24th of the month, all the
prices will drop. It would be a lot easier to hit your price target.
later.....
.
