I have not been able to burn a good iso for about a month.
Using 2 different machines and 2 different OS's still no good cd's or

I have tried bittorent and normal downloads. also tried different
distro's still no luck.
any ideas???
I never could upgrade to RH9 for exactly that reason. Just before I took the leap to Fedora Core I found that when it failed on one disc I could "fix" it by putting in a different burn of the same disk. I went back and forth several times but finally did get it all to load. This was Redhat which gave a warning which permitted switching discs. I don't know if they all do. For some reason there were both multiple errors but in different places on different burns. I cannot explain this. It does not make sense.
But then it complained I didn't have enough space as I had forgotten to erase a previous attempt ... And I went to FC in a "*** it all" reaction. I don't know if it would have actually upgraded or not.
I had tried different downloads and they all passed the MD5SUM test and the burn was verified.
I presume you mean different "distros" of the same linux version.
If you mean different versions you most likely have a problem with your burner. But then you say different machines so I assume different make and model burners. So if that is what you are saying assume the gods hate you and drop the money for a store version where you can get your money back.
