He might not be aware that Linux is quite well documented?

The Linux filesystem hierarchy is just following LSB*, respectively
FHS and should be as much on par with "The Single UNIX
Specification, Version 3" -> ISO POSIX (2003) as possible.

With all those shinny GUIs people might not be aware that Linux
is technical speaking just another unix OS?
