Why don't you read the man page for hier before asking such a dumb
question?

Why don't you take your civility pill each morning before you turn your computer on? Maybe the question was a bit naive, but I've used linux over a decade without knowing that there was a man page called hier, and if I had known, I would not have guessed what was in it. You don't want to answer the question, fine. So bugger off and let someone else have a go.
