nForce sound drivers
I'm using Asus A7N8X Deluxe mainboard with nForce2 chipset including
an integrated sound card. In the past, I used the nVidia sound card
drivers with no problems, however these are no longer supported on new
kernels and users are expected to install the intel8x0 drivers.
They work, but the sound quality is horrible. Moreover, only one
application can use sound at once. The others get /dev/dsp busy error.
Am I doing something wrong? Incorrectly used modules or alsa
subsystem? I'd appreciate any help :)
