By chance (and I'm sure you did) has the boot from usb option been
enabled in your computer BIOS? Some machines do not have the capability
of doing so.

yes, its enabled, it just doesnt boot.
anyways I would like to be able to boot it on old computers that don't
even have that option in BIOS.
