Files ending with .tar.gz are somewhat similar to PKZip files. The files
have been archived with "tar", then compressed with "gzip". Use "tar -xzvf
[name of file]" to expand them. For more information on this, do "man tar".

In the future, please use subject lines that better describe your problem
than merely "hi". Example: "How can I install .tar.gz files?"
