Perl module RPM building, and default options

Hi, folks.

I've been building stacks of perl module RPM's lately. (cpan2rpm is
really, really my friend for this!) But a lot of Perl modules
have..... fascinatingly unique and varied build options. In
particular, a bunch of the Make::MakeMaker built setups insist on
asking for for command line responses at build time, to ask whether or
not to build required or optional components as well.

Is there a graceful way to say "perl Makefile.PL" with some options to
say "No, do not build any extra components, just go ahead and fail"?
I'd like to use it to automate RPM building for local software
repositories, particularly for cpan2rpm building of modules.
