Problem Installing Java

I just recently installed Cent OS 5. Right afterward I began trying
to install the JDK and had an error with the C++ libraries. Following
is the terminal output:

# ./java_ee_sdk-5_03-linux.bin
../java_ee_sdk-5_03-linux.bin: error while loading shared libraries:
libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory

Please help me resolve this issue.

Thanks in advance,

David
