Presumably on the PC's, there are.
If you can read the data, they ARE shared. This is Windows config
issue, not a Fedora/linux one.

What would be the windows config issue? Or would it be a problem in the
windows networking protocol? But I can't see the unshared drives on any
other Win machines within the network. such a fantastic feature make me
hesitate to use linux.
So there's a serious security problem with Windows networking and Windows
doesn't even make you aware that the problem exists? Surely that should
make you hesitate to use Windows...
