Debian X trouble

Hi all,

I'm having a little bit of trouble configuring X on Debian Linux. I've
created a XF86Config file with xf86cfg and copied it to /etc/XF86Config-4.
If I'm logged in as root (/root/XF86Config is used for X) everything works
fine. If I'm logged in as a 'normal' user (/etc/XF86Config-4 is used), X
doesn't start and I get 2 errors, one complains about the driver name
being wrong, the other (as a result) says that no screen(s) were found and
X exits. So - what's the problem? Any ideas?

Cheers,
RSP
