I am looking to find out more information on key combinations. I am
playing with linux at work, and have run into a hinderance on getting
it on to our network. I use special characters for my passwords:
(ie - é ª © ® ² ¶)
and lots others. I could be just paranoid, but it is confusing to a
lot of people when I type in my password say using a combo like
"alt-0169" to produce "©" or just a single asterix in a password
protected edit box (in windows - not mac).
Does anyone have any idea how to use a similar functionality in linux?
Dead keys - I got those down now, but is there a list of
combinations, do I have to create a whole list of them to use all the
other special characters out there? Please elucidate...
Newbie in linux (do pros say this about themselves too?)
