With xscreensaver, none of my 3D (OpenGL) demos are working. Actually,
when I first start the xscreensaver daemon, I can then start
xscreensaver-demo and get exactly one 3D demo to work. After that, no
3D screensaver works (the 2D/non-GL demos are fine). Furthermore, after
the one demo has been displayed, the 3D screensaver's won't even show up
in the preview window of xscreensaver-demo.

However, if I restart the daemon (xscreensaver-command -restart), I can
go back into xscreensaver-demo and see (exactly) one 3D demo.

I have xscreensaver set to cycle demos every two minutes. When
xscreensaver is actually running, I get two minutes of just black screen
here and there (as the 3d demos are cycled in).

I've turned on verbose messaging, and I'm not seeing any errors.

Other GL applications, such as glxgears, work fine.

    Result of xscreensaver-command -version:
    XScreenSaver 4.12

I'm running Debian unstable, with a custom 2.4.21 kernel.

    Thanks for any thoughts!
    Matt
