Is anyone doing any development/upkeep on xfm? The last supported
version (included in Suse 8.1) seems buggy as all hell. The regex
engine used to map file types to file actions is flaky, and when I base
file open actions solely on filename extension then the bindings are
lost when I switch to a different directory in the tree. Even something
as trivial as swapping the order of the filetypes in the magic or
xfmrc file can cause things to break in mysterious ways.
I'm quite confused. This package was very highly rated several years
ago and it seems strange to me that something so seemingly buggy would
have been so popular at one time.
