According to the man page I should be able to do this by using options
CloneDisplay and CloneMode, however, after you mentioned the log files
I noticed this:

(**) Option "dpms"
(**) RADEON(0): DPMS enabled
(WW) RADEON(0): Option "CloneDisplay" is not used
(WW) RADEON(0): Option "CloneMode" is not used
(WW) RADEON(0): Option "MonitorLayout" is not used
(II) RADEON(0): Direct rendering disabled

Since MonitorLayout is not mentioned in the man page I could understand
that, but CloneDisplay and CloneMode too?

This is what I specified in the XF86Config-4 file:

        Option "CloneDisplay" "2"
        Option "CloneMode" "1024x68"
        Option "MonitorLayout" "LVDS,CRT"

Two log files (XFree86.0.log and XFree86.1.log) as well as my XF86Config-4
file are placed in the web directory below... I also placed there the
XF86Config file, although I am not sure if that is used at all!
