    Hey.

I have been trying to install the ati driver for
redhat 9 - It seems that it has worked, as a

    [root@hoste meyer]# cat /proc/dri/0/name
    fglrx 0xe200

which i saw in some other thread.

however - when i try out fglrxinfo, it still uses
    mesa3d

    [root@hoste meyer]# fglrxinfo
    display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: Mesa project: www.mesa3d.org
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect
OpenGL version string: 1.3 Mesa 4.0.4

my dmesg displays the following about flgrx:

[fglrx] AGP detected, AgpState = 0x00000000 (hardware caps of chipset)
[fglrx:firegl_unlock] *ERROR* Process 4301 using kernel context 0

Why isn't there any hardware support?

    how can i enable it?

    Jonas
