cygwin Xfree86 no libX11.a

    I just got the latest setup.exe for cygwin and the downloaded the latest
    versions of some tools. I noticed that none of the /usr/X11R6/lib/X11 lib
    files (*.a) exist anymore. None of my tool "configure" scripts work now
    since the libX11.a doesn't exist anymore. Has anyone else experienced this
    difference in what seteup.exe does now? I've tried installing the cygwin
    Xfree-base and these lib*.a files still don't exist.
