I'm trying to make work a RADEON 9200SE from Saphire on:
-VIA KT400
-Linux 2.4.21, with patch to make work the AGP 8X
-Debian sid
-Xfree86 4.3 from:
http://people.debian.org/~mmagallo/packages/xfree86/i386/
-DRI from dri.sourceforge.net indicates:
http://people.debian.org/~daenzer/dri-trunk-sid
Without the latest DRI Xfree says the kernel module is 1.1 and it
needs >= 1.5 After compiling latest DRI the kernel driver is 1.9
but the ABI (???) version is 8 and the server's ABI is 7.
What is the ABI version? Any idea to make this card work? Should I buy a
nvidia?
Thanks a lot.
