widget set/ theme

Ok, here goes my problem:

I ame using a RH 9 with gnome.
I have a Gtk application. When I run it directly from my machine, it
uses certain fonts and widgets, those defined by the gnome theme
manager. But when i start it from another machine thru telnet (btw, this
other machine is also a RH9), My application appears with what seems to
be an ugly default widget and font set.
How can i get it to use the same widget set?
