I noticed a week ago that my xfs hasn't been working properly,
segfaulting instead. (Been sneakily running on old fontpaths without my
realising.)
If I run xfs from bash with no args I simply get:
<code>
root@xxxxxxx root # /usr/X11R6/bin/xfs
Segmentation fault
root@xxxxxxx root #
</code>
I tried gdb but don't know too much, so didn't get too much:
<code>
root@xxxxxxx root # gdb /usr/X11R6/bin/xfs

I'm running Gentoo 1.4 with a freshly updated/compiled system (emerge
- -eb world) and XFree86 -version gives:
<code>

Sorry I can't supply more info at present - I dunno where to start.
Would be happy to supply whatever info is need tho. I suppose a font
server isn't vital, but segfaults p*ss me off if I don't know why.
Cheers for your time.
