lifebook touchscreen driver????

Installed Suse9.0 on lifebook;
Main features work;
Could not get running touchscreen with standard driver

There are several touchscreen drivers available but so far I did not see
one for X86Free Version 4.3.x with Kernel 2.4.21 (SuSE 9.0)

I got drivers from

http://www.conan.de/

which runs under X V4.2.x but this one did not work (Object). Source
would be available but I have not enough experience to change this one
to work for X V4.3.x

Ideas; links welcome
