DRI and Xinerama

Is anyone aware of whether DRI and Xinerama can/should work together?

DRI works fine when I stop using the second head on my "Radeon Mobility 7500" video card under Fedora 1, however in my normal Xinerama setup it does not play ball. Could someone also advise if "Clone" mode or dual display is a better option for DRI.
