X11 UI Design tool

I would like to obtain a Wysiwyg U Idesign tool for X. Can somebody
help me? I know there used to exists something called XDesigner, but
now that is an expensive commercial product.

Other than Libraries with big dependencies like QT or GTK, what other
alternatives do I have?
