    Hi,

do someone knows how to tunnel a x session with ssh on a xdm, kdm or gdm.

    I tried to:

    ssh -L 177:localhost:177 -L 6001:localhost:6001 -L32800:localhost:32800
    -L32801:localhost:32801 -L32802:localhost:32802 -L32803:localhost:32803
    -L32804:localhost:32804 -L32805:localhost:32805 -L32806:localhost:32806
    -L32807:localhost:32807 -L32808:localhost:32808 -L32809:localhost:32809
    -L33550:localhost:33550 -L33551:localhost:33551 -L33552:localhost:33552

    -L33571:localhost:33571 -L33572:localhost:33572 -L33573:localhost:33573
    -L33574:localhost:33574 -L33575:localhost:33575 -L33576:localhost:33576

    -L33589:localhost:33589 -L33590:localhost:33590 -L33591:localhost:33591
    -L33592:localhost:33592 -L33593:localhost:33593 -L33594:localhost:33594
    -L33595:localhost:33595 -L33596:localhost:33596 -L33597:localhost:33597
    -L33598:localhost:33598 -L33599:localhost:33599 -L33600:localhost:33600
    -L33601:localhost:33601 -L33602:localhost:33602 -L33603:localhost:33603
    -L33604:localhost:33604 -L33605:localhost:33605 -L33606:localhost:33606
    -L33607:localhost:33607 -L33608:localhost:33608
    -L33609:localhost:33609 -L33610:localhost:33610 -L33611:localhost:33611
    -L33612:localhost:33612 -L33613:localhost:33613 -L33614:localhost:33614
    -L33615:localhost:33615 -L33616:localhost:33616 -L33617:localhost:33617
    -L33618:localhost:33618 -L33619:localhost:33619 -L33620:localhost:33620
    -L33621:localhost:33621 -L33622:localhost:33622 -L33623:localhost:33623
    -L33624:localhost:33624 -L33625:localhost:33625 -L33626:localhost:33626
    -L33627:localhost:33627 -L33628:localhost:33628 -L33629:localhost:33629
    <HOSTRECHNER>

    I took
          -L32800:localhost:32800 bis ca -L32809:localhost:32809
    and -L33550:localhost:33550 bis ca -L33629:localhost:33629
in the lists of fowarding, because I saw with tcpdump that when I
connect to my localhost (no tunnel), that this ports are used.

then if I try to connect with

    > X :1 -query localhost

    I get:

    _XSERVTransSocketINETCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed
    _XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: server already running

    Fatal server error:
Cannot establish any listening sockets - Make sure an X server isn't
    already running

When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send
the full server output, not just the last messages.
This can be found in the log file "/var/log/XFree86.1.log".
    Please report problems to xfree86@xfree86.org.

    thanks in advance,
                  Haluk Durmus
