The problem i'm having here is that when I want to switch to a text
console, I press ctrl-alt-f1, and I usually get my prompt.. however, this
also causes X to close and bring me back to my GDM login prompt, and
closes all processes that were running from inside X. Does anybody have
any idea why this is happening?
