    Hi NG.
    I apologize for my broken english.

    If I do start x I get the error message
      "Caught signal 11. Server aborting."
    and x crashes just after KDE gets to the initalising peripherals stage.
    IIRC, signal 11 means "segmentation fault", right?

    I'm trying to install
      Debian Woody 3.0 i386 2.2.20-idepci
    on this computer:

    AMD Athlon XP 2800+
    ASUS A7N8X Deluxe nForce 2
    512 MB DDR333 "twin bank mode" (two 256MB DIMMs)
    Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 XT
    Logitech MX-xxx mouse (xxx=600? It isn't the wireless one)

    I can start GNOME with no problems...
