I'm using a Radeon SE 9200 card on the latest Debian Woody. Basically
it works, using the vesa driver, except that X will sometimes restart,
after the following appears in syslog:
gdm[403]: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error - Restarting :0
This happens in 2 situations that I have identified:
1. If the system is idle, it happens about once every 20 minutes. The
immediate impact is that if you go away from the machine for more than
20 minutes, when you come back you've been logged out because X has
restarted.
2. When mplayer is run.
Anyone seen this? Suggestions?
