I'm having problems logging into one account on my SUSE 9.0 Thinkpad.
All of my other account work, just this one if I try launch either KDE
or Gnome. The failsafe windows manager still works for that account,
but is so crippled that it is useless. The last thing I did was
install the Yahoo Messenager rpm, but that was as root, so I'm not
sure it is cause of this problem.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this as it will be a pain to
reset everything up again for this account? If not, can someone at
least point to either the proper log file to examine, the start up
sequence that x-windows uses after someone keys in a user name and
password or a page that happens to answer this specific problem that I
somehow missed when I googled errr google.

    Thanks

    Kris
