    Hi!
Whenever I switch from the X-Server to console the screen is full of
the upper part of big letters in bad resolution. The funny thing is
that the test lines have normal size, but the letters are much to big.
Then I have to change to
another text-terminal and back again and everything looks fine. What's
the problem? How can I solve it?

I have a dell Latitude CPI Notebook starting the kernel with
    fb1024x768(or x786 - i don't know
    now)

    thanks
    bernd
