Which Desktop? Feature Comparason

Hi everyone,

I am currently a SuSE user. In the past I have used various distros
including Redhat, Debian and even at one point Caldera (sorry). I am
currently using the version of KDE that comes with SuSE 9.1. I am wondering
however which desktop environment is best. I am looking to open an honest,
objective discussion about the various features that set KDE and Gnome
apart. Is there a clear winner?
