Hi,
I really need some help. I am new to linux and have been trying to get
fedora core 2 to work. I have installed and reinstalled it three
times. The problem is that after installation and the server boots up
it tries to run x server but the screen says it's out of range. So I
went to have a look at the config file to see if I could work it out.
I went to usr/X11R6/lib/X11 and usr/X11R6/bin/X11 to see if I could
see the xf86config.sample or xf86config file respectively. They are
not there I tried to find the Xconfigurator and the XF86Setup files
nothing. then I read a post that said something about x.org and that
if the server is using that then xf86config file won't be there.
Bottom line is - how do I config X server or whatever is inplace of
it?
second bottom line is - where are the files?
third bottom line is - I haven't had any breakfast so I'm off to get
some.
Cheers Russty
