Greetings! We have a Dell PE-2650 with RH8 (Dell-installed) running our
intranet. On it is "tomcat" running java apps. Default login,
whenever done with a GUI, is Gnome/Nautilus.
We've had it crash, big-time, because "Trash" for root keeps filling up
with (stuff) to the point where the entire partition is full. We no
reason at all to even have "Trash" on this system as it is very rare to
have anyone logged in to a GUI and using any apps or applets there.
We'd like for it to be more "unix-like" so that deleted files are just
that - deleted!
Any ideas how to deal with this nasty? We're tired of being down while
having to run a system recover.
Thank!
