Parameters for ATI Radeon & Xorg 6.7.0

I've installed ATI offcial drivers (3.11) under my Slack (kernel
2.6.8-rc4) and Xorg 6.7.0. I've an ATI radeon 9000 - 64 Mb.
Now, what are the best xorg.config Options to obtain max power from my
hardware ?
I've some artifatcs (like orizzontal lines) when play with acelerated
software (like glgears, foobillard, tuxkart, etc.) in windows mode. Any
suggestions to remove this problem ?
