Xfree86 4.4 compiler/binutils/libc version dependencies?

What minimum versions of libc, gcc, and binutils do I need
to compile Xfree86 4.4?

(Lots of updated packages seem to assume that libc, compiler, and
binutils upgrades are happening in parallel with whatever package
one is compiling an upgrade for at the moment. I am merely seeking
a shortcut here to downloading all of Xfree86 4.4, configuring it,
compiling it, and finding out sometime later that the code requires
a newer libc, gcc, and binutils than what I have installed to either
compile at all or to run correctly once it is compiled and installed.)

Thanks in advance for your time if you know the answer.
