    well, we partially nailed the sucker <g>.

    without VGA option it works!! the PCi screen stays black. i enabled xinerama
    in xorg.conf, and if i start X i have a xineramascreen. if i tty1 i am back
    to my AGP :-)

    if i startx, the PCI initializes. i first thought the system would boot,
    because it displays the (c) information, vga bios blabla, etc.. but no, its
    OK.

    unfortunally i now have this braille kind display now on my tty. you can
    imagine how this looks on a 19" monitor - i can easyly put away my glasses
    <g>. maybe we can fix this as well? also i would like xinerama off, and
    desktop 0 and 1 as it used to be.
