forkable X server: Xvnc? XNest?

Hi,
I would like to fork an X server so that an application child can
continue to communicate with an X server child without influencing the
application parent in any way.
I have been told that Xvnc and XNest are forkable. Which is the best
choice? I am not familiar with either. Is there a better X server for
this purpose?
