I don't know about installing WOW on linux a friend of mine has done it
already but for me a major accomplishment was installing the early
"multiplatform" Oracle8i with the crappy java based installer. After many
trials and errors it installed and me and my friend were giddy as school
boys, then we uninstalled it :D
