I run 3 X sessions on vt 7, 8, and 9. I have been doing this for a long
time with no problems.
I recently added 2 scsi drives to the machine and installed Fedora Core 3.
Ever since then, the machine will lock up on changing X vt (CTRL-ALT-Fx).
The kernel will remain running, as I can ping the machine, but otherwise
it is completely dead. The screen is black, I cannot telnet/ssh/anything
into the machine.
The machine has a recent 550W power supply, so I'm fairly confident that's
not it.
There is absolutely nothing in the log files that would indicate any sort
of problems with anything - hardware, etc.
Any thoughts, ideas, etc?
