    OK, that doesn't put anything useful in it. And not having a template,
    I'm not sure what to put in it.

    Yes, I'd forgotten that the choice was there when one logs in. Of
    course, since I'm already logged in on the second virtual display, when I
    type "startx -- :1" I don't get that choice. It just runs KDE without
    asking.

    Eventually, I'll want to figure out how to make the system start two
    Xservers at boot, so I can log in, and then CTRL-ALT-Fn and log in again
    as a different user.

    No, not for simply doing useful work. But this is cooler than the other
    side of the pillow !

    The last thing I want is more hardware. I'm running two headed now with
    Xinerama and a matched pair of 17" LCDs. It's sweet. But I DON'T want
    more machines. My air conditioner struggles as it is.
