Mark H.
go to the URL slot in your browser and type in:
about:buildconfig
and hit enter, mozilla will show a page listing the args used
to compile it including libraries and so on. If one of them
says --enable-xft then it was built with xft support.
Usually Redhat puts that in their mozilla's, but if you
downloaded the generic mozilla from mozilla.org it won't have
xft support because mozilla.org has to make their browser work
on different linux's and some don't have xft.
