Hi, I have a machine experiencing hard drive failure.... my /varPossibly /var/run, /var/lib, /var/tmp. Other things such as mail,

won't work (Xorg...) what is required in /var to get X to work?
printing and cron require /var/spool. And you need /var/log so that if
