Is anyone else that's using the Kino video capture software having
trouble with DV grabbed video being too dark? Both the real time
preview and the captured file played back is too dark...
Video recorders are typically set up to record video that looks good on
a TV. Monitors have different brightness profiles than TVs, so if I use
xine to play a DVD or some DV on a monitor, that DVD/DV looks "too
dark". xine and mplayer have brightness controls. YMoviePlayerMV.
