Wow, that was fast. I dont have access to the system
till later today so I will check this out but I am pretty
sure that entry is in the xorg.conf, but I am not sure
what the setting is. I will give your settings a try and
see what happens.
Thanks for the very fast response, and my apology for
posting to the wrong group.

This is kind of a strange problem related to X and KDE.
This is X only, so I have added comp.os.linux.x to the list and set it as
followup-to.
I have a dual flat panel setup.I have an ATI X300
display adapter with an analog and digital out. The
flat panels are a Hitachi CML174B and a Samsung
740B(I think). Linux distro is Suse 9.3.
If I connect the Samsung to the digital out, and the
Hitachi to the Analog out(both using analog inputs)
I get seperate displays, but backwards, the primary
is on the right, I want it on the left and have set the
xorg.conf file to put Sreen[0] LeftOf Screen[1].
You need to define which is which in your xorg.conf, using
Option "MonitorLayout" "type"
CRT for your analog settings
TMDS for your digital settings
This will help you to get the right out-put to be used instead of how the
graphics card feels which is the primary (this one will be screen0).
