Your replies have helped me learn how to create an xterm that is large
enough to read a dosemu window comfortably. Thank you all.
Now I'd like to get the thread back on track to the original question:
How can I load a second X server and a simple window manager in a
different resolution in display 0:1 in KDE?
I have a nice ~/.xinit that will allow me to choose several window
managers as an option ala:
xinit fvwm2
or whatever other wm is in the .xinitrc.
How can I use xinit to load fvwm2 in :1 when :0 already has a window
manager? The man page implies that you can _either_
xinit
to "start up a server named X and run the user's .xinitrc, if it
exists, or else start an xterm." only in :0 it appears
or
xinit -- /usr/X11R6/bin/Xqdss :1
to run a specific wm
but I would like to choose the window manager from my ~/.xinitrc to
run in window :1 and specify the resolution if possible.
All those <g>
Thank you
