installing FC5 soon anyway.
I'm noticing that the Xorg nv still has a problem where if you use
KDE for a while the whole screen goes corrupted and the
only work around is to toggle to a virtual console session
with Alt+ctrl+F{1-6} and then back to the X console at
Alt+ctrl+F7. Then it's ok for a while but the corruption
returns eventually.
I'm completely up to date via yum for xorg, is it possible this
driver is still this bad? nv was doing this when I first installed
FC months ago. Is this some kind of backing store problem?
The nv driver that comes with xorg 6.8.2 has poor support for the
6xxx-series, you need more or less upgrade xorg to 6.9/7.0 to get good
support.

I just installed Fedora Core 5, you're right, nv works a lot better
in FC5
