Re: Problem with nvidia drivers after SuSE You kernel patch



I sometimes have the same problem when updating the kernel.
Reinstalling the nvidia driver fixes it. It will detect that you
already have a driver installed and will ask you if you want to remove
it first. Say Yes and then let it recompile the modules for the new
kernel (you will also need the new kernel sources). Reboot (to load
the new modules) and start X. It works for me but YMMV.
