Can't get X to work on Fedora Core 6 using Radeon X1300

I have made many attempts on installing Fedora Core 6 i386, and it always
ends up with my monitor going into sleep mode. I uninstalled the i586
version of the kernel and installed the i686 kernel, still didn't work. I
updated yum and installed the fglrx from rpm.livna.org, didn't work either.

I tried installing the x86-64 version, but ends up with the same black
screen.

Is there someone out there that has a working solution to getting an ATI
Radeon X1300 working on Fedora Core 6? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Oh btw, here's some of my system's specs:
Motherboard: ABIT NF8-V
Memory: Corsair XMS PC3200 1GB
Video Card: Visiontek Radeon X1300 512MB

Thanks in advance.
