2.6.19 - I forget the most important information...

Here is a quote from the changelog for 2.6.18. I have no Idea what version of Xorg is needed to make use of this change (assuming that it is relevant to your problem).

As I told, the fact is only [X-:0-Core] is started. Swapping the layouts I can have both the configurations, but one at the time.
Today I'll try to see what happens if I use xdm (well documented) instead of kdm.
