About few days ago, and it is not necessary to reply to this, I
include only 'cause before
the problem was "how the dri..", and now is "why the dri.."

If you really have a Savage4, then you almost certainly need "Option
ShadowStatus" in your X.Org file. The original Savage4 engine has a rather
serious hardware bug that causes the chip to lock up if the graphics engine
is busy when the status register is read. ShadowStatus works around this.
