Grub - Menu does not work

I have a server with 3 Hard Disks
Hd A - Win2k
Hd B - CDROM Drive
Hd B - RedHat 7.3
Hd B - RedHat 9

Grub Menu had stopped working some time back. I reinstalled GRUB using the
following commands
grub> root (hd1,0)
grub> setup (hd1,0)
-------------
Also grub-install /dev/hdc
---------------
What ever I do, I only get the GRUB> command line prompt & not the Menu.
How can I reinstall grub from scratch, So I can boot any of the OS from the
Menu ?
